The Independence Day celebration on 15th August 2024 was held at school, marking the 78th anniversary of our nation’s independence. The event aimed to honor and commemorate the historical significance of Independence Day while fostering national pride and unity among attendees.

Objectives

• Educational Impact: To educate attendees, especially the younger generation, about the history and significance of Independence Day, including the struggles for freedom and the values of liberty and democracy.
• Community Engagement: To bring together members of the community for a shared celebration of national pride, creating a sense of unity and collective identity.
• Cultural Enrichment: To showcase and celebrate the diverse cultural heritage of our nation through various performances, speeches, and activities.

• Ceremonial Flag Hoisting: The event commenced with a formal flag hoisting ceremony, accompanied by the national anthem, setting a solemn and patriotic tone for the celebration.
• Speeches and Tributes: Keynote speeches were delivered by prominent figures [Names and Titles], highlighting the importance of independence and reflecting on the nation’s progress and achievements.

23rd August : Kolkata rape and murder incident

In Kolkata rape and murder incident Rally for Late Dr. Momita, held on 23rd August 2024, was a significant public demonstration aimed at raising awareness and advocating for justice in the Dr. Momita case. In the rally concerned citizens, activists, and community leaders, who came together to voice their support for Dr. Momita and demand a thorough investigation and fair resolution.

19th August : Rakshabandhan Celebration

Event Overview: Raksha Bandhan, a cherished festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters, was joyfully observed at Modern Baby Nursery School Samiti on 17th August 2024. The celebration aimed to teach children about the importance of familial bonds and cultural traditions in a fun and interactive manner.

Activities and Highlights:

• Classroom Decorations: The school was adorned with colorful rangoli designs and festive decorations. Traditional motifs of rakhi (sacred thread) and symbolic patterns added to the vibrant atmosphere.
• Rakhi Making: As part of the celebration, students engaged in a hands-on craft activity where they made their own rakhis. This creative session not only allowed children to understand the significance of the rakhi but also helped them develop fine motor skills and artistic expression.
• Raksha Bandhan Ceremony: Children exchanged rakhis with their peers, and the ceremony was accompanied by a small ritual where students tied rakhis on each other’s wrists, symbolizing their promise to care and support one another.

Event Overview: The Janmashtami celebration at Modern Baby Nursery School Samiti was held on 26th August 2024 and was a vibrant and joyful occasion for students, teachers, and parents. This event, commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna, was a highlight of our cultural calendar and offered an enriching experience for the children.

Activities and Highlights:

• Decorations: The school was beautifully decorated with traditional motifs, including peacocks, flowers, and festive lights. The classrooms were adorned with colorful rangoli patterns and images of Lord Krishna.
• Dress Code:  Students wore traditional attire such as lehengas, dhotis, and Kurta-Pajamas, adding to the festive spirit.
• Performances: The event featured a series of performances by the students. Highlights included a dance drama depicting the life of Lord Krishna, bhajans (devotional songs), and traditional dances that engaged and entertained everyone present.
• Educational Impact: The Janmashtami celebration provided students with an opportunity to learn about Hindu culture and traditions in an interactive and engaging manner. Through storytelling, music, and dance, children gained insights into the values and stories associated with Lord Krishna, fostering an appreciation for cultural heritage.

5th September : Teacher’s Day Celebration

Today Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pomp in our school. Various activities and programs were organized to celebrate this special day, in which both students and teachers participated enthusiastically. The Principal and some of the prominent teachers delivered inspirational speeches on the occasion. He appreciated the duties of teachers and the contribution made by them to the society.

The teachers were awarded various awards for their hard work and dedication. It was an inspiring moment that reminded everyone how important a role teachers play in the field of education.The event concluded with a grand refreshment party where everyone got together and enjoyed this special day.

9th September at SD Memorial Play way School

MODERN BABY NURSERY SCHOOL SAMITI organized function to distribute tool kit under PRADHAN MANTRI KAUSHAL VIKAS YOJNA. On this occasion MLA (Gosaiganj) Mr. Abhay Singh was present as a chief guest.

• Students showcased their talents through  the  performances or activities like musical performances, drama skits, art displays.
• The event featured an awards ceremony where outstanding students were recognized for their achievements in academic, athletic, artistic. Notable awards included bicycle distribution, shield distribution and tool kit for PMKVY students.

 

14th September :

World First Aid Day celebrated at SD Memorial Playway School, Jana Bazar, Ayodhya

The emerging youth leadership of SD Memorial Playway School, Jana Bazar, Ayodhya celebrated World First Aid Day on 14th September with great enthusiasm. The occasion was aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of first aid in Survival.

During the program, students were given basic information of first aid, including treatment of common injuries, importance of quick help in emergency situations, and how to deal with situations like cuts, burns, and fractures. Essential life-saving techniques like CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and correct use of first aid kit were demonstrated by trained professionals.
School Principal Mr. Kaushal Kishore Sinha and play group teachers Reena, Aarti, and Shivani Pandey were also present at the event. Under his guidance, the students gained practical knowledge through interesting and interactive activities, which gave them a sense of confidence in emergency situations. Rally organized under “Swachhta Hi Seva Hai” at Modern Baby Nursery School Committee.

Today, at Modern Baby Nursery School Samiti, Jana Bazar, Ayodhya, senior students of Modern Inter College took out a grand rally in the getup of great personalities like Gandhi ji, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Sarojini Naidu, Rani Lakshmi Bai, Ahilya Bai, Mother Teresa, and Savitri Bai Phule. The rally started from the school and went to Jana Bazar Market, which was aimed at making people aware of cleanliness.

Before the rally, all the students cleaned their classrooms and school premises. Later, the children also cleaned the Shiva temple located near the school. The rally started with ribbon cutting by Mr. Ramesh Chandra Srivastava, Manager of Modern Group, who flagged off the rally.

During the rally, all the students of the school cleaned the Jana Bazar area using brooms and dustbins. Along with this, he told the people present there about the importance of cleanliness.

This year, our school celebrated Dussehra with great enthusiasm and spirit! Dussehra, also known as Vijayadashami, marks the triumph of Lord Rama over the demon king Ravana and symbolizes the victory of good over evil.

Message of Unity:
As part of the celebration, students delivered speeches emphasizing the importance of unity, integrity, and standing up against injustice. These messages resonated deeply, reminding everyone of the festival’s true essence.

Visit to the Vidhan Sabha: 25th October

On 25th October, a group of enthusiastic students and faculty members from S.D Memorial Play Way School embarked on an enriching and educational visit to the Vidhan Sabha, the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. This visit was aimed at providing students with a deeper understanding of democratic processes, governance, and legislative functions.
