23rd August : Kolkata rape and murder incident
In Kolkata rape and murder incident Rally for Late Dr. Momita, held on 23rd August 2024, was a significant public demonstration aimed at raising awareness and advocating for justice in the Dr. Momita case. 19th August : Rakshabandhan Celebration

This event, commemorating the birth of Lord Krishna, was a highlight of our cultural calendar and offered an enriching experience for the children.

- Decorations: The school was beautifully decorated with traditional motifs, including peacocks, flowers, and festive lights. The classrooms were adorned with colorful rangoli patterns and images of Lord Krishna.

5th September : Teacher’s Day Celebration
Today Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and pomp in our school. Various activities and programs were organized to celebrate this special day, in which both students and teachers participated enthusiastically. The Principal and some of the prominent teachers delivered inspirational speeches on the occasion. He appreciated the duties of teachers and the contribution made by them to the society.
The teachers were awarded various awards for their hard work and dedication. It was an inspiring moment that reminded everyone how important a role teachers play in the field of education.The event concluded with a grand refreshment party where everyone got together and enjoyed this special day.
This Teacher’s Day was a memorable day for our school and the glow of happiness and contentment could be clearly seen on everyone’s face. This day made everyone understand how big the importance of teachers is in our lives. Some glimpse of celebration:
9th September at SD Memorial Play way School
MODERN BABY NURSERY SCHOOL SAMITI organized function to distribute tool kit under PRADHAN MANTRI KAUSHAL VIKAS YOJNA. On this occasion MLA (Gosaiganj) Mr. Abhay Singh was present as a chief guest.
- Students showcased their talents through the performances or activities like musical performances, drama skits, art displays.
- The event featured an awards ceremony where outstanding students were recognized for their achievements in academic, athletic, artistic. Notable awards included bicycle distribution, shield distribution and tool kit for PMKVY students.

World First Aid Day celebrated at SD Memorial Playway School, Jana Bazar, Ayodhya
The emerging youth leadership of SD Memorial Playway School, Jana Bazar, Ayodhya celebrated World First Aid Day on 14th September with great enthusiasm. The occasion was aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of first aid in Survival.
During the program, students were given basic information of first aid, including treatment of common injuries, importance of quick help in emergency situations, and how to deal with situations like cuts, burns, and fractures. Essential life-saving techniques like CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and correct use of first aid kit were demonstrated by trained professionals.
School Principal Mr. Kaushal Kishore Sinha and play group teachers Reena, Aarti, and Shivani Pandey were also present at the event. Under his guidance, the students gained practical knowledge through interesting and interactive activities, which gave them a sense of confidence in emergency situations. Rally organized under “Swachhta Hi Seva Hai” at Modern Baby Nursery School Committee.
Today, at Modern Baby Nursery School Samiti, Jana Bazar, Ayodhya, senior students of Modern Inter College took out a grand rally in the getup of great personalities like Gandhi ji, Lal Bahadur Shastri, Sarojini Naidu, Rani Lakshmi Bai, Ahilya Bai, Mother Teresa, and Savitri Bai Phule. The rally started from the school and went to Jana Bazar Market, which was aimed at making people aware of cleanliness.
Before the rally, all the students cleaned their classrooms and school premises. Later, the children also cleaned the Shiva temple located near the school. The rally started with ribbon cutting by Mr. Ramesh Chandra Srivastava, Manager of Modern Group, who flagged off the rally.
During the rally, all the students of the school cleaned the Jana Bazar area using brooms and dustbins. Along with this, he told the people present there about the importance of cleanliness.

Visit to the Vidhan Sabha: 25th October
On 25th October, a group of enthusiastic students and faculty members from S.D Memorial Play Way School embarked on an enriching and educational visit to the Vidhan Sabha, the Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh. This visit was aimed at providing students with a deeper understanding of democratic processes, governance, and legislative functions.
